Senior Engineer – Government Health Institution

About the role

The National Institute of Health (NIH) is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead planning, supervision, and execution of engineering and maintenance projects across its facilities. This full‑time, permanent position supports the institute’s infrastructure in line with government standards and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and execute engineering and maintenance works for buildings, utilities, and equipment.
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Monitor contractors to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with standards.
• Coordinate with internal departments and technical teams.
• Maintain accurate engineering records, reports, and documentation.
• Provide technical advice to management as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (relevant discipline).
• Registration with PEC where applicable.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience in public‑sector or healthcare facilities preferred.
