Senior Executive – Knitting Machine Maintenance

About the role

We are seeking a technically skilled Senior Executive to lead preventive and corrective maintenance of knitting machines and related auxiliary equipment. The role focuses on maximizing equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting smooth production operations while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and monitor preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of knitting machines and auxiliary equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical faults, perform troubleshooting, and conduct root cause analysis of recurring failures.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules with the Production Department and supervise maintenance technicians.
• Maintain accurate records of breakdowns, preventive actions, spare parts, and machine performance.
• Assist in installation, commissioning, alignment, and testing of new machinery.
• Collaborate with vendors and technical service providers for specialized support.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce breakdown frequency and maintenance costs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline.
• 3–4 years of experience in knitting machine maintenance, preferably in textile or apparel manufacturing.
• Proven experience supervising maintenance teams and coordinating activities with production.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
