Senior Finance Consultant / Assistant Manager (Business Consulting)

About the role

EY is seeking a Senior Finance Consultant / Assistant Manager to join its Finance practice within the Business Consulting team. You will work with managers and senior managers to deliver finance transformation projects for MENA clients, helping organisations shift from transactional finance to strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Support development and implementation of financial analysis and reporting methodologies.
• Perform in‑depth financial analysis to aid senior client decision‑making.
• Assist clients with public financial management, budgeting, revenue assurance and cost optimisation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather insights and provide recommendations.
• Drive process optimisation across Procure‑to‑Pay, Order‑to‑Cash and Record‑to‑Report cycles.
• Assess and incorporate AI and advanced analytics solutions into finance transformation initiatives.
• Lead digital finance and ERP implementation projects using SAP or Oracle.
• Design and deliver dashboards using Power BI or Tableau.
• Prepare high‑quality PowerPoint presentations for senior client audiences.
• Travel regularly across the MENA region to support client engagements.

Required profile

• 3–4 years of recent finance transformation or financial planning experience in a leading consulting or accounting firm.
• Hands‑on experience with major finance transformation projects.
• Willingness to travel frequently across MENA.
