Senior Finance Governance Consultant – FAAS

About the role

EY is seeking an experienced finance professional to join its FAAS team in Karachi. The Senior Consultant will drive finance transformation projects for clients across the MENA region, ensuring high‑quality delivery in line with EY Global Standards.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with managers, senior managers and partners to plan, budget, execute and deliver FAAS engagements.
• Lead finance transformation initiatives using EY’s Global Service Delivery framework.
• Engage with client personnel to gather insights, build relationships and produce clear, accurate work products.
• Analyse and redesign finance processes such as Record‑to‑Report, Plan‑to‑Perform, Order‑to‑Cash, Procure‑to‑Pay, Acquire‑to‑Dispose and Hire‑to‑Retire.
• Define finance target operating models, technology strategies, architecture and road‑maps.
• Design finance performance‑management systems, identify KPIs and benchmark against industry standards.
• Identify and resolve engagement or client‑service issues, supporting new service‑offering development.
• Contribute to proposal development and go‑to‑market strategies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in finance transformation and governance, preferably within a professional services environment.
• Ability to manage multiple client engagements across the MENA market.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for short‑ and long‑term assignments.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on delivering high‑quality, compliant outputs.
