Senior Financial Analyst

About the role

Banyan Canopy Group is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Financial Analyst to join its global finance organization. Based in Karachi, this in‑office position works five days a week from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM PKT to align with worldwide teams. The role blends accounting leadership, financial planning & analysis, process improvement, and M&A integration support.

Key responsibilities

• Own and execute month‑end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Manage General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable processes.
• Maintain close timelines and reporting deadlines across assigned entities.
• Review and validate balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Oversee day‑to‑day accounting operations and enforce strong financial controls.
• Partner with business leaders to provide actionable financial insights.
• Supervise junior team members and contribute to finance transformation initiatives, including automation and AI‑driven solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior finance or accounting roles within a dynamic, acquisition‑driven environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into strategic recommendations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead month‑end close and manage multiple accounting processes.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with global teams and business stakeholders.
