Senior Import Logistics Officer

About the role

The Senior Import Logistics Officer will oversee end‑to‑end import operations for Recruit AI in Lahore, ensuring shipments are documented, cleared and recorded accurately while supporting the finance and supply‑chain teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage complete import documentation and shipment processes from initiation to customs clearance.
• Coordinate shipment schedules with international suppliers, freight forwarders and customs clearing agents.
• Prepare, maintain and organise accurate import records such as invoices, bills of lading and packing lists.
• Calculate product costing, landed costs and other import‑related expenses, maintaining costing sheets for the accounts department.
• Operate FAST accounting software to manage import records and interface with financial systems.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and import documentation requirements.
• Monitor shipping updates, payments and delivery timelines, proactively resolving any issues.
• Maintain detailed reporting of import activities to support internal audits and performance tracking.
• Communicate effectively with suppliers, logistics providers and internal stakeholders.
• Manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast‑paced office environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Supply Chain or Accounting.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant import and logistics experience.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and FAST accounting software.
• Strong organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
