Senior IT Officer – Lahore

About the role

Gulf Desk Services is seeking a proactive Senior IT Officer to join its Lahore office. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all IT services, supporting end‑users, and maintaining the company’s infrastructure and ERP platform.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line technical support for desktops, laptops, printers and related equipment.
• Install, configure and troubleshoot Windows operating systems and business applications, including Microsoft Office 365.
• Monitor and maintain LAN/WAN, Wi‑Fi, routers, switches and internet connectivity.
• Manage user accounts, email accounts and access permissions via Active Directory.
• Support ERPNext users, create and manage accounts, and coordinate with ERP consultants for issue resolution.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets and handle onboarding/offboarding of employees.
• Ensure compliance with security policies, monitor antivirus solutions, perform regular backups and assist with disaster‑recovery planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in IT support, network or system administration.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
