Senior Legal Counsel

About the role

Software Finder is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to lead its legal and compliance function. The role will provide strategic legal advice, manage commercial contracts and ensure regulatory compliance across Pakistan and international jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Act as primary legal advisor to leadership on corporate, commercial, employment and regulatory matters.
• Draft, review, negotiate and manage client, vendor, service, NDA, partnership and employment agreements.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments, develop compliance frameworks and mitigate legal risks.
• Advise on corporate governance, prepare board documentation and support management meetings.
• Handle pre‑litigation matters, coordinate external counsel and develop dispute‑avoidance strategies.
• Create and update internal policies, and deliver legal awareness training to staff.

Required profile

• LL.B. (LL.M. preferred) from a recognized institution.
• 7–9 years of post‑qualification experience in a reputable law firm or in‑house legal department.
• Strong expertise in corporate, commercial law, contract management and regulatory compliance.
• Proven track record in complex negotiations and business transactions.
• Excellent analytical, drafting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluent English communication, both written and verbal.
