Senior Manager – Cyber Security Assurance

About the role

The Bank of Punjab is seeking a Senior Manager to lead its Cyber Security Assurance function within the Information Systems Audit Division. Based in Lahore, the role focuses on evaluating the bank’s cybersecurity posture, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks, and delivering risk‑based audit plans.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Head of IS Audit in assessing cybersecurity risks across information systems and allied applications.
• Develop and execute risk‑based audit plans, managing scope, budget, and timelines.
• Lead audit engagements, evaluate policy frameworks, and validate audit findings from internal, external, and regulatory reviews.
• Allocate resources according to risk profiles and monitor overall engagement performance.
• Facilitate communication with senior management, presenting audit conclusions and actionable recommendations.
• Conduct independent audits of IT environments to assess controls, reliability, and integrity.
• Maintain professional relationships with internal stakeholders and support remediation efforts.
• Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity trends and regulatory changes.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in information systems audit, preferably within the banking or financial sector.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to manage audit teams and large‑scale engagements.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
