Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis and Investment Management – Pakistan & Afghanistan Region

About the role

The Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis and Investment Management will lead the financial planning, performance management and investment analysis for our franchise operations across Pakistan and Afghanistan. You will partner with finance, operations and marketing teams to drive data‑driven decisions and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the operating‑unit financial planning and performance management processes.
• Collaborate with Franchise Operations Finance, RGM and PS teams to develop and align business plans, revenue forecasts and performance targets.
• Lead P&L scenario management, providing critical inputs for senior decision‑making.
• Prepare and monitor marketing spend forecasts, ensuring compliance with sub‑limits.
• Conduct product cost analysis, category growth analytics and external market assessments.
• Drive innovation financial processes, including shadow costing and competitive product basket analysis.
• Prepare presentation materials for rolling estimates and actuals, highlighting risks and opportunities.
• Partner with Platform Services to improve reporting, data quality, tools and processes.
• Support digitisation initiatives, automating manual tasks with digital and AI tools.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in financial planning & analysis, commercial finance or category finance.
• At least 4 years of leadership experience in one of these domains.
• Strong understanding of P&L, variance analysis and risk & opportunity assessment.
• Proven ability to generate, communicate and discuss actionable insights.
• Experience working in a culturally diverse environment and a curiosity‑driven mindset.
• Hands‑on experience with finance digitisation and AI‑enabled tools.
