Senior Medical Manager – Multi‑Country (Pakistan, Afghanistan, Bangladesh)

About the role

The Senior Medical Manager will lead Medical Affairs strategy for multiple therapeutic areas across Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh. Reporting to the Medical Director, the role combines scientific leadership, KOL engagement and clinical research oversight to support business growth and portfolio advocacy.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute medical strategies aligned with global therapeutic plans and commercial priorities.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with key opinion leaders across assigned therapeutic areas.
• Lead affiliate‑level clinical research projects, including bio‑equivalence, epidemiological, registry and observational studies.
• Oversee medical operations to ensure compliance with global standards and regulatory requirements.
• Provide scientific support to commercial teams, train sales staff and drive medico‑marketing activities.
• Support product launches, lifecycle management and real‑world evidence generation.

Required profile

• Minimum MBBS degree; postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
• Additional qualification such as an MBA is preferred.
• Significant experience in Medical Affairs and clinical research within the pharmaceutical industry.
