Senior NDT Engineer

About the role

The Senior NDT Engineer will lead and execute day‑to‑day non‑destructive testing (NDT) service operations for BV Pakistan. This role ensures high‑quality inspection services that meet international standards and supports business growth through new service offerings.

Key responsibilities

• Lead conventional and advanced NDT operations across multiple sites, including high‑pressure shutdown projects.
• Develop, review, and approve NDT procedures, inspection plans, and methodologies in compliance with ASME, API, ISO 9712, and SNT‑TC‑1A standards.
• Act as Level III authority for UT, ECT, MPI, and DPT inspections, providing technical support for complex inspections and failure investigations.
• Drive operational excellence, monitor KPIs, and ensure client satisfaction.
• Support business development by preparing technical proposals, tenders, cost estimates, and execution strategies.
• Maintain strong client relationships and act as a trusted technical advisor.
• Ensure compliance with BV HSE policies and report any hazards or incidents promptly.

Required profile

• BE/BSc/MSc in Physics or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of NDT experience, with proven leadership in service delivery.
• NDT Level II certification (ASNT/PCN or equivalent) in UT, ECT, and MT.
• Demonstrated ability to act as Level III authority for NDT activities.
