Senior Network Security Engineer

About the role

The Senior Network Security Engineer will design, deploy, configure and maintain enterprise network infrastructure across LAN, WAN, WLAN and data‑center environments. You will ensure secure connectivity for branch offices, data centers and remote users while supporting high availability and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, manage and troubleshoot routers, switches, wireless access points, WLAN controllers and network management platforms.
• Implement network security solutions such as next‑generation firewalls, NAT, ACLs, threat‑prevention and VPN (site‑to‑site IPsec and remote‑access).
• Deploy dynamic routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), VLANs, inter‑VLAN routing, EtherChannels, link aggregation and redundancy mechanisms.
• Administer firewall HA/failover, perform policy optimization, traffic‑flow analysis and vulnerability remediation.
• Monitor network performance, conduct fault isolation, root‑cause analysis and execute migrations, upgrades and configuration backups with minimal disruption.
• Implement secure access mechanisms (RADIUS, TACACS+, 802.1X) and integrate with Active Directory where applicable.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and operating enterprise networks and security infrastructures.
• Hands‑on expertise with Cisco, Huawei, Fortinet, Palo Alto and Sangfor platforms.
• Strong knowledge of VPN technologies, dynamic routing, VLAN design and high‑availability architectures.
