Senior VoIP Support Engineer

About the role

VoiceSpin is expanding its engineering team and seeks an experienced Senior VoIP Support Engineer to design, configure, and optimize the telephony backbone of its cloud‑based contact‑center platform. You will work with Linux, Asterisk and SIP technologies to ensure high call quality and reliability for enterprise clients worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 2nd/3rd tier technical assistance to customers via phone, email or chat.
• Perform remote troubleshooting, diagnose issues, and guide customers through problem‑solving.
• Escalate unresolved problems to higher support levels and record all events, issues and resolutions.
• Deliver accurate information on VoiceSpin products and services, and relay customer feedback to internal teams.

Required profile

• Strong Linux administration experience.
• Hands‑on knowledge of Asterisk and VICI Dialer.
• Deep understanding of SIP protocol and VoIP concepts.
• Experience with SQL databases, especially MySQL or MariaDB.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Bash, PHP or Python).
• Upper‑intermediate or higher English communication skills.
