Senior Network & Systems Administrator (Afternoon Shift)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Network & Systems Administrator to join our IT team in Karachi on an afternoon shift. You will be responsible for maintaining and securing our enterprise infrastructure, overseeing network operations, server management, and compliance with ISO 27001.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Fortinet firewalls, DPI, IPS, web/content filtering and SD‑WAN routing.
• Configure Cisco Catalyst switches and Cisco WLC controllers, and operate multi‑ISP SD‑WAN with failover and IPSec tunnels.
• Implement 802.1X authentication with NPS/RADIUS, dynamic VLANs and captive portal Wi‑Fi.
• Monitor performance with Zabbix and troubleshoot routing, VLAN or authentication issues.
• Maintain Windows Server (2022‑2025) services (AD, DNS, IIS, DHCP, NPS) and Dell PowerEdge virtualization/storage platforms.
• Administer Ubuntu servers, Nginx, PHP applications and SSL certificates (Let’s Encrypt, internal CA, Cloudflare tunnels).
• Automate tasks using PowerShell, Bash or Python scripts.
• Enforce ISO 27001 controls, manage logs, audits and endpoint security.
• Handle Veeam backup, replication, integrity checks and disaster‑recovery documentation.
• Lead IT staff, manage help‑desk tickets (osTicket), act as L3 escalation point and coordinate vendor/ISP SLAs.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of enterprise network and systems administration experience.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with Fortinet and Cisco networking equipment.
• Proven track record maintaining ISO 27001 compliance.
• Availability for off‑hours maintenance and incident response.
