Senior Officer Treasury

About the role

A dynamic, results-oriented Assistant Manager - Treasury is sought to join the Finance team at the Head Office in Karachi. The role suits someone with strong financial acumen, hands-on treasury experience and the ability to drive operational efficiency through effective financial management and process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily fund positioning, liquidity reserves and cash flow forecasting to ensure optimal fund use and timely payment of obligations.
• Coordinate banking facilities, renewals, enhancements and repayments, negotiate competitive financing terms and minimize finance costs.
• Identify and evaluate investment opportunities, optimize surplus fund placements and maintain adequate liquidity.
• Ensure accurate treasury accounting, month-end closing, management reporting and audit compliance.
• Drive automation and digitization of treasury processes and enhance digital collection solutions.
• Ensure compliance with treasury policies, banking covenants and internal controls, and implement process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field; ACCA, CA (part qualified) or similar qualifications are an advantage.
• 3-5 years of experience in treasury operations, cash management, banking or corporate finance.
• Strong understanding of liquidity management, cash flow forecasting, banking facilities and financial instruments.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel, financial reporting and ERP systems.
• Familiarity with treasury automation, digital banking solutions and financial controls.
