Senior Sales Engineer – Battery Portfolio (Karachi)

About the role

A client engineering company active in the power sector, particularly gas turbine filtration, is hiring a Senior Sales Engineer for its battery portfolio in Karachi. The role focuses on selling industrial batteries, UPS batteries and backup power solutions to industrial clients, UPS companies, EPC contractors, consultants and infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop sales of industrial batteries, UPS batteries and backup power solutions.
• Identify and approach industrial clients, UPS companies, EPC contractors, consultants and infrastructure projects.
• Understand battery applications and recommend suitable battery technologies and specifications.
• Generate leads, manage inquiries, prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms and close orders.
• Build strong relationships with existing customers and develop new accounts across Karachi and nearby industrial areas.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams on technical compliance, pricing and delivery.

Required profile

• B.E./B.S. in Electrical or Electronics Engineering; 2-4 years of experience preferred.
• Experience in industrial battery sales, UPS systems or backup power solutions.
• Understanding of VRLA/AGM, lead-acid and industrial stationary battery applications is preferred.
• Ability to independently manage sales opportunities from lead generation to order closure.

Required skills

• Strong customer networking, negotiation and business development skills.
• Technical knowledge of battery types and applications.
