Senior SEO Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior SEO Specialist to lead SEO strategy for regional and e‑commerce projects, with a focus on the German market. The role combines hands‑on optimisation, AI‑driven content creation, and close collaboration with senior management to drive long‑term organic growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute SEO strategies for regional and e‑commerce sites.
• Create and optimise high‑quality German‑language content using modern AI tools.
• Perform keyword research, competitor analysis and identify new organic growth opportunities.
• Conduct technical SEO audits and implement on‑page improvements, including Core Web Vitals optimisation.
• Build sustainable white‑hat backlinks and manage Local SEO campaigns.
• Optimise Google Business Profiles and monitor performance via Google Search Console, GA4 and other SEO platforms.
• Prepare clear SEO reports with actionable insights.
• Collaborate with developers, designers and content writers to ensure SEO best practices are embedded.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of proven SEO experience, preferably with German‑market projects.
• Strong understanding of Local, Technical and E‑commerce SEO.
• Business‑fluent German and good English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple SEO projects.

Required skills

• AI tools: ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Custom GPTs, AI Search Optimization (GEO).
• SEO platforms: Sistrix, Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, GA4.
• Technical expertise: structured data, index management, category and product page optimisation, white‑hat link‑building strategies.
