About the role

Devsinc is looking for a Senior AI/ML Engineer with 4+ years of experience to design, develop, and deploy large‑language‑model and generative‑AI applications. You will own the full AI lifecycle, from experimentation to production monitoring, ensuring solutions are reliable, scalable, secure, and cost‑efficient.

Key responsibilities

Design, build, and launch AI/ML and LLM‑based applications, including AI agents, tool‑using systems, and human‑in‑the‑loop workflows.
Create scalable training, fine‑tuning, evaluation, and inference pipelines with experiment tracking and model versioning.
Develop and optimise retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) and semantic‑search systems using embeddings, chunking, vector search, reranking, and grounding.
Implement backend APIs, micro‑services, and real‑time inference services with Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
Improve model quality, latency, throughput, and cost through hyper‑parameter tuning, quantisation, batching, and caching.
Lead architectural decisions, cloud deployments, and MLOps practices including CI/CD, automated testing, and production monitoring.

Required profile

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science or related field.
4+ years of professional experience in AI/ML engineering with proven ownership of production AI systems.
Strong production‑level Python skills and hands‑on experience with PyTorch and/or TensorFlow.
Experience integrating commercial or open‑source LLMs, designing prompts, managing context, and handling model limitations.
Ability to guide technical decisions, mentor engineers, and communicate effectively with clients and cross‑functional teams.
