Senior Structural Draftsman

About the role

The Senior Structural Draftsman will work full‑time on‑site in Rawalpindi, producing detailed structural and architectural shop drawings, technical drawings, and construction documentation. The role supports project delivery by translating engineering designs into clear, buildable drawings while ensuring compliance with local codes and project standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate detailed shop drawings and technical drawings for structural and architectural elements.
• Maintain and update BIM models where applicable, ensuring accurate version control.
• Collaborate with structural engineers, architects, and project managers to review design inputs and resolve discrepancies.
• Mentor junior drafting staff and uphold drawing quality standards.
• Manage multiple drawing packages, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in structural drafting for buildings or infrastructure, preferably in a senior or lead capacity.
• Strong understanding of structural engineering concepts and relevant building codes.
• Effective communication skills for close work with engineers, architects, and site teams.
• Ability to manage multiple drawing sets and maintain documentation accuracy.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
• Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) workflows.
• Expertise in producing shop drawings, technical drawings, and architectural drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in construction documentation.
