Senior Tax Consultant – Accounting Compliance & Reporting

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Tax Consultant to join our Accounting Compliance & Reporting (ACR) team in Karachi. You will work with a globally coordinated tax practice, delivering high‑quality tax compliance, statutory accounts preparation and tax accounting support to our regional clients.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients with financial digital processes, including year‑end closings, audit support and preparation of financial statements.
• Manage tax compliance activities such as corporate tax returns and VAT filings.
• Perform general accounting, credit control and internal optimisation projects.
• Prepare management reports, budgeting, analytical bookkeeping and conduct financial health and competitor analyses.
• Oversee day‑to‑day client engagement activities, monitor progress, enforce standardized processes and mitigate risks.
• Supervise and coach high‑performing teams, fostering a positive learning culture and ensuring adherence to Tax Quality guidelines.

Required profile

• Excellent communicator with strong attention to detail.
• Proven management experience, comfortable working across borders and handling large data sets.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation or a related field.
• Relevant senior‑level experience in tax compliance and accounting.
