Senior Tax Technology & Transformation Consultant – Pakistan

About the role

Join EY MENA's Tax Technology & Transformation (TTT) team as a Senior Consultant, helping organisations modernise their tax and finance functions through technology, data analytics and AI‑enabled solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and document business requirements for tax transformation projects.
• Prepare, validate and reconcile large data sets.
• Develop analytics and reporting solutions using visualisation tools.
• Support implementation activities, including system testing (SIT/UAT) and defect management.
• Assist clients in adopting eInvoicing, digital tax reporting and AI‑enabled solutions.
• Lead workstreams, manage deliverables and mentor junior team members where required.

Required profile

• Analytical, detail‑oriented and collaborative mindset.
• Experience in tax technology, tax transformation, finance transformation or data analytics.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Familiarity with software implementation lifecycles and testing processes.

Required skills

• SQL for data extraction and validation.
• Alteryx for data preparation and workflow automation.
• Tableau or Power BI for data visualisation and reporting.
• Experience with eInvoicing, VAT reporting or AI/GenAI solutions is a plus.
