Senior Technical Sales Officer

About the role

Syngenta is seeking a Senior Technical Sales Officer to lead sales activities in the Lodhran region. The role combines budget responsibility, demand generation, and team leadership to drive growth of crop‑protection solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver regional budget targets with monthly phasing and maintain forecast accuracy above 80%.
• Generate demand through field meetings, demonstrations and promotional activities, ensuring inventory liquidation.
• Lead, coach and plan activities for a team of Field Officers, including on‑the‑job training and performance reviews.
• Manage channel partners, set targets, conduct monthly business reviews and onboard new BSA resources.
• Monitor market outlook, competitor actions and provide regular updates.
• Introduce new product innovations (NPI) through demonstrations to growers and middlemen.
• Execute campaign activities, allocate resources, and expand geographic and channel coverage.
• Maintain stakeholder relationships with dealers, sub‑dealers, value‑chain partners and government officials.
• Track channel inventory, handle customer complaints and ensure timely collections to meet DSO goals.

Required profile

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in agriculture, preferably plant breeding or horticulture.
• 3‑5 years of relevant sales experience in agriculture or crop protection.
• MBA in Agriculture is a preferred qualification.
• Strong customer focus, planning & execution, results‑driven mindset and proven selling capabilities.
