Senior Technical SEO Specialist & WordPress Developer (Remote)

About the role

Seo Impact Pros is seeking an experienced Senior Technical SEO Specialist who also excels as a WordPress Developer to join its fully remote team. You will design and build responsive WordPress sites while driving technical SEO improvements that boost rankings for a variety of local businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive WordPress websites using Elementor or Bricks Builder.
• Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits and resolve crawl, indexing, and structural issues.
• Optimize Core Web Vitals, PageSpeed, and overall site performance.
• Implement schema markup (Schema.org, JSON‑LD) and manage SEO plugins such as Yoast SEO or Rank Math.
• Configure and monitor Google Search Console, Cloudflare, DNS, and security/backup protocols.
• Perform seamless website migrations while preserving SEO equity.
• Optimize images and media assets for speed without quality loss.
• Enhance site architecture through internal linking, canonical tags, redirects, robots.txt, and XML sitemaps.
• Collaborate with content teams to publish SEO‑optimized pages following SOPs.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in technical SEO and WordPress development.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and meticulous attention to detail.
• Leadership ability to guide a team of eight professionals and ensure project quality.
• Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment.
