About the role

Todd's Welfare Society is seeking a dedicated Senior Veterinarian to lead clinical care for animals in its shelter, rescue, and sanctuary operations. Based in Lahore District, this full‑time, on‑site role ensures high‑quality medical treatment and welfare standards for a diverse animal population.

Key responsibilities

• Perform examinations, diagnostics, treatments, surgeries, and emergency care for rescued and shelter animals.
• Prescribe medications, monitor recovery, and maintain comprehensive medical records.
• Guide veterinary assistants and support staff, ensuring adherence to hygiene and welfare protocols.
• Advise on nutrition, preventive care, and stress‑reduction techniques.
• Participate in rescue assessments and collaborate with management on policies, budgets, and long‑term health planning.

Required profile

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent with a valid license to practice.
• 3‑5 years of clinical experience, preferably in animal shelters, rescue organizations, or high‑volume settings.
• Demonstrated commitment to animal welfare and ethical veterinary practice.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, and handle animals of varying sizes.
