Short Form Video Editor (Remote)

About the role

Nizsol is looking for a creative short-form video editor to produce engaging, polished content for digital and social media channels. The role suits someone who can turn raw footage and creative briefs into concise videos that grab attention quickly and carry a clear message. It is a remote position, with the employer based in Rawalpindi, Pakistan.

Key responsibilities

• Edit short-form videos for platforms such as Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and other social channels.
• Shape footage into clear, compelling stories using pacing, transitions, captions, graphics, music and sound effects.
• Review briefs and reference material, organise assets and deliver edits that meet brand and platform requirements.
• Prepare content in the right aspect ratios, resolutions and export formats, and make revisions based on feedback.
• Maintain organised project files and meet agreed deadlines while handling several edits at once.
• Work with the content team to keep a consistent visual style and share review-ready work digitally.

Required profile

• Hands-on short-form video editing experience and a portfolio or samples of engaging social content.
• Ability to interpret creative briefs, organise media assets, incorporate feedback and manage deadlines independently.
• Clear written communication and reliable collaboration in a remote workflow.

Required skills

• Proficiency with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro, or an equivalent tool.
• Strong sense of pacing, visual storytelling, transitions, caption placement and audience retention.
• Ability to add and refine titles, subtitles, simple motion graphics, music and sound effects.
• Knowledge of social platform formats, aspect ratios, export settings and basic video compression.
• Careful attention to audio levels, timing, spelling, visual consistency and final quality checks.
