Site Engineer – Telecom Network Deployment

About the role

The Site Engineer will lead the planning, supervision and execution of telecom site deployment activities, ensuring safe, high‑quality and on‑time delivery of network rollout projects. You will manage Installation Technicians and Riggers, coordinate resources and guarantee compliance with customer, OEM and HSE requirements for 2G, 3G, 4G LTE and 5G networks.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise site installation activities performed by Installation Technicians and Riggers.
• Allocate manpower, tools and materials to meet project schedules.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, customers, subcontractors, warehouse teams and integration engineers.
• Supervise installation of Huawei, ZTE and Nokia equipment, including BBUs, RRUs, cabinets, antennas, microwave gear and fiber/CPRI cabling.
• Oversee DC power system installation, rectifiers, battery banks and TMC/outdoor cabinets.
• Verify antenna mounting, azimuth, tilt and microwave alignment to meet RF designs.
• Conduct site quality inspections, review checklists, ATP documents and as‑built records.
• Support customer acceptance tests, commissioning and troubleshooting using telecom test equipment.
• Enforce HSE procedures for tower climbing, electrical safety and work‑at‑height activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising Installation Technicians and Riggers on telecom sites.
• Familiarity with Huawei, ZTE and Nokia network equipment.
• Strong knowledge of HSE standards and tower‑climbing safety procedures.
• Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and manage site resources efficiently.

Required skills

• Installation of Huawei, ZTE and Nokia telecom equipment.
• DC power systems, rectifiers, battery banks and TMC/outdoor cabinets.
• Microwave antenna alignment and optimization.
• Fiber/CPRI cabling and RF testing.
• Use of telecom test tools such as Site Master and Power Meter.
