Social Media & Content Executive

About the role

Gohata Global is expanding its marketing department and is looking for a creative, organised and strategically minded Social Media & Content Executive. The role is responsible for building the company's social media presence, communicating its brand message and supporting marketing initiatives across digital platforms. It is a full-time, on-site position in Lahore.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute monthly content calendars for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube.
• Research content ideas, industry developments, audience interests and emerging social media trends.
• Write captions, promotional copy, video scripts and campaign content.
• Collaborate with videographers, editors and designers to produce content.
• Manage daily publishing, scheduling, community engagement and platform activity.
• Create content around university partnerships, student success stories, admission campaigns, events and educational opportunities.
• Monitor insights, engagement and performance, and recommend content strategy improvements.
• Coordinate with admissions and counselling departments on accurate university information.
• Maintain consistent brand tone and assist in planning digital marketing campaigns.

Required profile

• Previous experience in social media management, content creation or digital marketing.
• Excellent English writing, copywriting and communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple campaigns.
• Experience in education, international recruitment or service-based marketing is preferred but not mandatory.

Required skills

• Understanding of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube.
• Familiarity with Meta Business Suite, scheduling tools and social media analytics.
• Canva or basic design and video editing tools are an advantage.
