Software Developer – 60‑day Contract (Remote, Pakistan)

About the role

Stay'd is seeking a contract software developer to strengthen and scale StaydOS, the internal platform that powers its vacation‑rental portfolio. This 60‑day remote engagement focuses on turning fast‑built, AI‑assisted code into a clean, production‑ready system.

Key responsibilities

• Review, refactor and harden existing “vibe‑coded” software to meet production standards.
• Identify technical debt, propose and implement architectural improvements.
• Design and maintain Supabase/Postgres schema, row‑level security, authentication and access policies.
• Implement security best practices across internal tools, including secrets handling and data protection.
• Develop new features for StaydOS across backend and frontend using modern JavaScript/TypeScript stacks.
• Document code and hand over knowledge to ensure maintainability after the contract ends.

Required profile

• Experienced developer comfortable using AI coding tools daily and aware of their limitations.
• Strong architectural mindset capable of restructuring messy, fast‑built codebases.
• Hands‑on senior‑level judgment; ability to work independently without managing others.
• Effective async collaboration with a globally distributed team, with overlap during US working hours.
