Software Engineer - FinTech (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join a global leader in financial services. The role focuses on building and maintaining core financial platforms that handle real‑time transactions for millions of users worldwide. This is a fully remote, full‑time position.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimise backend services for financial transaction processing.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate third‑party financial APIs and payment gateways.
• Implement robust security measures to meet financial regulations and data‑privacy standards.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following software‑engineering best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to minimise downtime and ensure system reliability.

Required profile

• Proficiency in Java, Python, or Go for backend development.
• Experience with financial transaction systems, payment processing, or related domains.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and API design.
• Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases for financial data storage.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and containerisation technologies.
