Software Engineer II – Full‑Stack Development

About the role

SmartPropFirm is seeking a Software Development Specialist to join its Product & Engineering team. You will build, maintain, and enhance web‑based tools for the proprietary trading industry, working remotely with a fast‑moving, collaborative group.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable front‑end and back‑end features for the trading platform.
• Integrate APIs, databases, authentication systems and third‑party services, and ensure production‑ready code.
• Identify and resolve bugs, performance bottlenecks, and technical issues.
• Leverage AI‑assisted development tools to accelerate coding, debugging and problem‑solving.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong programming fundamentals, problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Excellent communication skills and ownership mindset.

• JavaScript/TypeScript
• React, Next.js, Node.js
• REST APIs, databases, authentication mechanisms
• Git and collaborative development workflows
• AI development tools such as ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude or GitHub Copilot
