Specialist Civil Design Engineer

About the role

The Specialist Civil Design Engineer will lead the structural design and planning of telecom tower projects, ensuring safety, compliance, and cost‑effectiveness. You will work closely with design consultants, vendors, and internal teams to deliver robust solutions for new and existing tower structures.

Key responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design of new telecom towers and foundations (monopole, self‑supporting, guyed).
• Evaluate existing tower structures for additional loads and propose strengthening solutions.
• Prepare and review structural drawings, load calculations, reports, and certification letters.
• Ensure designs comply with local and international standards and telecom‑specific codes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and vendors to integrate site designs.
• Review and confirm vendor submissions related to structural elements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (master’s preferred).
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent.
• 4–6 years of experience in structural design, preferably in telecom or infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of structural mechanics, wind‑load analysis, and foundation engineering.
• Familiarity with telecom codes such as TIA‑222‑H, IS 875, and ANSI.
• Excellent attention to detail and safety‑first mindset.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
