Specialist - Delivery Operations & Commercial Reporting

About the role

The Specialist will manage delivery operations, governance activities, commercial finance data, and contractor engagements while ensuring data accuracy and timely reporting. The role leverages advanced Excel, AI tools, and prompt engineering to streamline processes and standardise reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate day‑to‑day delivery operations and governance, tracking actions, deadlines, compliance and review cycles.
• Identify and resolve or escalate operational issues, risks and delays.
• Maintain commercial finance and project delivery data repositories with accurate, consistent updates.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation and discrepancy resolution with stakeholders.
• Manage third‑party contractor onboarding, tracking, renewals, invoice verification and payment follow‑up.
• Track project and business‑unit KPIs, identify gaps and coordinate corrective actions.
• Prepare periodic financial reports with variance analysis and commentary.
• Use AI tools and prompt engineering to improve reporting, data validation and communication drafts.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, lookups, pivot tables and data cleaning.
• Practical experience with AI tools and prompt engineering for data analysis and workflow automation.
• Experience in delivery operations, project governance, commercial finance support or KPI reporting.
• Ability to coordinate contractor engagements, invoicing and approvals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interaction with internal teams and senior stakeholders.
