Sports Teacher

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Sports Teacher to lead physical education programmes for our students. The role involves planning, delivering and evaluating a variety of sports activities that promote fitness, teamwork and sportsmanship.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise and conduct physical education lessons for different age groups.
• Develop engaging sports programmes tailored to varying skill levels.
• Teach fundamental skills, strategies and rules of multiple sports.
• Monitor and assess students’ performance and progress.
• Promote teamwork, sportsmanship and a healthy lifestyle.
• Ensure safety and well‑being of students during all activities.
• Organise school sports events, tournaments and inter‑school competitions.
• Maintain and inventory sports equipment, ensuring its safety and availability.
• Collaborate with other teachers to integrate physical activity into the broader curriculum.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience as a Sports Teacher or in a related role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Science or a related field.
• Teaching certification or relevant licensure is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of various sports and physical‑education strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• First aid and CPR certification preferred.
