Sr. Infrastructure & Security Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure & Security Engineer to ensure the reliability, scalability and security of our hybrid cloud environment. The role bridges development and operations, with a strong focus on automation, security and system resilience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and harden Linux (Rocky Linux, CentOS, RHEL) and Windows Server systems, applying kernel patches and security updates.
• Perform regular vulnerability assessments using Nessus, Qualys or OpenVAS and integrate SAST/DAST scans into CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks, AWX/Tower jobs, and automation scripts in Python, Shell or Go.
• Administer GitHub Enterprise repositories, configure GitHub Actions workflows and enforce branch protection rules.
• Configure, tune and troubleshoot Apache and Nginx web servers, including SSL/TLS and load‑balancing.
• Deploy, monitor and scale containerized workloads on Kubernetes (EKS, AKS or on‑prem) and build secure Docker images.
• Implement monitoring solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK) and lead incident response during on‑call rotations.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience with Rocky Linux, CentOS, RHEL and Windows Server administration.
• Strong background in security hardening, vulnerability scanning and LDAP authentication.
• Proven expertise in infrastructure‑as‑code using Ansible and scripting languages.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Enterprise and GitHub Actions.
• Solid knowledge of container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker) and web server management.
