System Administrator (Remote, Pakistan)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive System Administrator to join our global team on a remote basis. You will manage and maintain Linux‑based infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security, and performance across multiple business units.

Key responsibilities

• Administer, monitor, and maintain Linux servers (CentOS, Ubuntu, etc.)
• Configure, deploy, and manage software, services, and system updates
• Monitor system health, performance, uptime, and security
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, network, and application issues
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls
• Implement and maintain backup, disaster‑recovery, and security procedures
• Configure firewalls, networking equipment, and related services
• Document troubleshooting procedures, infrastructure changes, and operational processes
• Support internal teams with technical issues and infrastructure requests
• Automate operational tasks using scripting and tooling
• Assist in evaluating and implementing new technologies and infrastructure improvements

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience as a System Administrator, Infrastructure Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role
• Strong experience with Linux server administration (CentOS, Ubuntu or similar)
• Solid understanding of networking concepts (LAN, WAN, DNS, VPN, firewalls)
• Knowledge of system security, access controls, intrusion prevention, and backup strategies
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of operational systems, and communicate effectively
