System Support Engineer L-1 (KHI)

About the role

Contegris is hiring a System Support Engineer L-1 (KHI), an entry-level technical support position focused on product support. You will help customers resolve technical issues, troubleshoot system problems and ensure a smooth customer experience. The role suits someone who enjoys troubleshooting, learning how systems work, communicating with customers and finding practical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries and technical issues by phone, email, chat and other support channels
• Analyze reported problems, identify possible causes and provide solutions, aiming to resolve issues at first contact
• Monitor system alerts and escalate complex issues to the relevant technical team
• Ask the right questions, listen to customer concerns and explain technical issues simply and professionally
• Document incidents, troubleshooting steps and resolutions in the CRM/HelpDesk system and follow up on pending issues
• Collaborate with internal technical teams to resolve issues that need further assistance

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree, preferably BS Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field; students currently enrolled in a BS CS/IT program at VU (Virtual University) are encouraged to apply
• 6 months to 1 year of experience in technical support or a high-paced call center environment
• Candidates who have completed CCNA, CCNP or relevant networking/IT courses from Corvit are encouraged to apply
• Comfortable working in rotational shifts
