Systems Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Systems Engineer to join our Managed IT Services team in Lahore. The role involves analysing detailed data, recommending improvements, and overseeing the deployment, modification, monitoring and maintenance of both on‑premises and cloud infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Pull and analyse system data to provide actionable recommendations.
• Deploy, modify, monitor and maintain on‑premises and cloud‑based systems.
• Integrate and support cloud applications such as Office 365, G Suite, Okta, and Workspace One.
• Manage backups, storage, and virtualization environments.
• Collaborate with consulting teams and manage large, complex projects.

Required profile

• Proven experience working in an MSP environment with consulting teams.
• Strong project management skills covering communication, budgeting, scope, schedule, risk and resource planning.
• Demonstrated ownership of client relationships and ability to assess customer needs.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Active Directory, DHCP and DNS administration.
• VMware infrastructure installation, configuration and maintenance.
• Enterprise storage management (e.g., NetApp).
• Veeam backup software deployment and maintenance.
• Microsoft 365 (Office 365) and G Suite administration.
• Azure Active Directory and Azure‑related services.
• Okta SSO & MFA integration.
• Workspace One (MDM) experience.
• AWS services and backup solutions (preferred).
• Windows PowerShell scripting for Azure, Office 365 and Exchange.
