Talent Acquisition Associate (Fresh Graduate)

About the role

The Talent Acquisition Associate will support the full recruitment lifecycle for Cogent Labs' Lahore office. Working closely with hiring managers and the HR team, you will help define roles, source candidates, coordinate interviews and ensure a smooth pre‑onboarding experience while leveraging AI‑driven tools.

Key responsibilities

• Assist hiring managers in defining hiring requirements and recruitment timelines.
• Draft job descriptions using AI tools and post openings on HireStream, LinkedIn, Indeed and other platforms.
• Source candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, referrals and university outreach.
• Conduct initial phone screenings to evaluate communication skills, motivation and fit.
• Coordinate interviews, maintain candidate pipelines in HireStream and collect timely feedback.
• Support pre‑onboarding activities, including preparing joining emails and coordinating onboarding requirements.
• Utilise AI tools to improve sourcing, job descriptions, candidate communication and recruitment reporting.
• Maintain accurate recruitment records in HireStream, ClickUp and Google Sheets.
• Contribute to employer branding initiatives and recruitment campaigns.

Required profile

• Fresh graduate or up to 6 months experience in talent acquisition, HR or recruitment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with LinkedIn and online recruitment platforms.
• Basic understanding of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) such as HireStream.
• Experience with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini).
• Knowledge of ClickUp and Google Sheets for tracking and reporting.
