Taxation and Audit Specialist – Rawalpindi

About the role

Grace Ware is seeking an experienced Taxation and Audit professional to join its team in Rawalpindi. The role focuses on ensuring accurate tax reporting, regulatory compliance, and effective internal audit processes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare tax filings and maintain tax accounts record keeping in collaboration with the Lead Accounts Manager.
• Plan, coordinate and conduct internal stock audits, evaluating ERP reports for financial accuracy.
• Monitor ongoing compliance with Pakistani tax regulations and oversee regulatory reporting.
• Conduct tax research to stay current with legislative changes and implement necessary adjustments.
• Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to streamline tax compliance and reporting.
• Support development and implementation of accounting and tax software tools.
• Analyze data to aid tax planning and financial strategy decisions.
• Maintain documentation and records related to tax filings and audit processes.

Required profile

• Comprehensive understanding of Pakistan tax laws.
• Proven experience in tax filings, audit planning, and internal stock audit reporting.
• Strong analytical and data‑analysis capabilities.
• Ability to lead and manage a team to meet tax and audit deadlines.
• Excellent stakeholder collaboration skills.
