Team Leader - Agri Consumer Banking

About the role

The Bank of Punjab, one of Pakistan's fastest-growing banks with over 35 years of history and more than 900 online branches and ATMs, is hiring a Team Leader for its Agriculture Credit Division (Consumer Banking Group) in Lahore. The role covers sales and marketing of agriculture credit products, including government-subsidized schemes, and supervising a team in the unit.

Key responsibilities

• Sell and market agriculture credit products and government-subsidized schemes according to assigned targets
• Promote and procure deposits according to assigned targets
• Collect and recover the assigned portfolio
• Prepare and submit agriculture credit proposals to the approving authority within the time allowed, and liaise with the Credit Inspection Unit to fix proposal anomalies
• Arrange post-approval formalities and submit them so that the Disbursement Approval Certificate is issued within the time allowed
• Liaise with the Risk Control and Audit Department for limit feeding in the bank system so loans can be disbursed
• Submit periodic stock inspection and visit reports as required
• Initiate proposals for loan settlement and release of security documents, and renew credit facilities and insurance and valuations
• Maintain file records and handle any other tasks assigned by the Unit Head
• Monitor the team in the hub to achieve individual targets and coach and counsel staff

Required profile

• Minimum bachelor's degree or equivalent from an HEC-recognized university; preference for agriculture graduates
• Minimum 7 to 9 years of experience; preference for 5 years of relevant banking experience
• Age up to 55 years as of November 8, 2026
• Grade Band 7 to Band 5
