Team Leader – Marketing & SME Finance

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Team Leader to drive marketing initiatives and business growth within the SME finance segment of the financial services industry. The role combines client relationship management, credit proposal preparation, and portfolio oversight to meet disbursement, recovery and compliance targets.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new business for lease finance, term loans and mortgage finance targeting SMEs.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
• Prepare comprehensive credit proposals for senior management, Credit Committee, CEO and Board of Directors.
• Manage and retain the existing customer portfolio, ensuring timely repayments and policy compliance.
• Follow up on insurance renewals, KIBOR differentials, annual reviews and other compliance requirements.
• Conduct regular customer visits to stay informed about business activities and industry trends.
• Prepare industry analysis reports and market insights for management.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual business targets related to disbursement, recovery and compliance.
• Perform additional responsibilities assigned by management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred).
• 3–5 years of experience in financial services, banking, leasing or SME financing.
• Strong knowledge of financial products, credit proposal preparation and portfolio management.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Proven leadership and people‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
