Technical Project Manager – Telecom OSS/BSS & Digital Applications

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead large‑scale digital transformation initiatives for telecom operators. The role focuses on delivering integrated OSS/BSS solutions and customer‑facing digital applications across Pakistan.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of Telecom OSS/BSS and Digital Applications projects, including self‑care portals, mobile apps, e‑commerce platforms, onboarding flows and chatbots.
• Manage cross‑functional teams of software engineers, UI/UX designers, QA engineers, DevOps specialists and solution architects.
• Collaborate with telecom clients and internal stakeholders to gather requirements, define scope and ensure technical and business alignment.
• Oversee implementation of scalable, secure, user‑centric digital applications integrated with backend OSS/BSS systems.
• Drive Agile/Scrum ceremonies and promote best‑practice adoption throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project health, manage risks and lead mitigation actions for scope, cost, schedule and quality.
• Track and report KPIs, progress, budgets and quality metrics to senior leadership and client stakeholders.
• Champion innovation and continuous improvement in delivery and solution architecture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years as a Technical Project Manager.
• Proven delivery of Telecom OSS/BSS solutions such as CRM, Billing, Order Management, Mediation and Inventory Management.
• Strong experience managing Digital Applications (mobile apps, web portals, customer engagement platforms).
• Deep understanding of Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with telecom standards (TM Forum, eTOM, ITIL) and modern digital architecture patterns (APIs, microservices, cloud‑native).
• Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, Asana).
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
