Technical Sales and Solution Architect (Telecom)

About the role

The role leads the AI, Cloud & IT Infrastructure function within the Commercial Department, driving technical pre‑sales activities to support business growth. It involves engaging with customers to understand their requirements and designing cloud, AI, data‑center and digital infrastructure solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical pre‑sales engagements, act as primary technical point of contact and qualify opportunities with Business Development.
• Assess and translate customer requirements across data‑center, cloud, AI/GPU, connectivity, cybersecurity, backup, DR and managed services into solutions and value propositions.
• Design scalable public, private, hybrid and multi‑cloud architectures, prepare solution designs, BOQs, HLDs and tender‑level technical documents.
• Develop solution costing, TCO, ROI and business case analysis, and coordinate pricing, licensing and proof‑of‑concept activities.
• Present and defend solutions through customer workshops, architecture reviews and executive‑level presentations.
• Maintain relationships with hyperscalers, OEMs, ISPs and technology partners, and ensure smooth handover to Service Delivery.

Required profile

• 12+ years of IT experience with at least 4 years in pre‑sales and telecom.
• Strong consultative selling, customer engagement and solution‑architecture skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation abilities.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform and Huawei Cloud.
• Experience with AI/GPU infrastructure, data‑center, networking, cybersecurity, backup and disaster recovery.
