Technical Support Professional – AMS

About the role

IBM Consulting is seeking a Technical Support Professional for its Application Management Services (AMS) team. You will join a global consulting environment, supporting clients as they modernize their hybrid cloud and AI platforms. The role focuses on delivering reliable production support while adhering to ITIL best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Incident Management – handle basic to moderate production incidents and escalate when needed.
• Problem Management – diagnose root causes and implement effective solutions.
• Change Management – execute and monitor changes to production processes with minimal disruption.
• Production Monitoring – continuously watch processing pipelines to pre‑empt issues.
• ITIL Compliance – ensure all activities follow ITIL incident, problem, and change procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (preferred).
• Experience with database concepts such as data modeling, normalization, and querying.
• Familiarity with multiple operating systems, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Basic knowledge of programming constructs and syntax.
• Understanding of ITIL framework and production support processes.
