Technology Governance Manager

About the role

The Technology Governance Manager will lead the bank’s Technology Governance and PMO functions. You will establish and enhance IT governance frameworks, oversee audits, standardise policies, and ensure regulatory compliance while aligning technology initiatives with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Implement end‑to‑end project governance practices aligned with the bank’s strategic goals.
• Coordinate with product and business teams to align roadmaps and deliveries.
• Manage vendor and in‑house collaborations to ensure effective delivery.
• Conduct weekly governance forums with technology and business stakeholders.
• Track project delays, report to senior management, and digitise tracking using Smartsheet.
• Escalate issues to relevant stakeholders and manage stakeholder relationships for branch and branchless product delivery.
• Update processes and manuals to meet regulatory and business requirements.
• Maintain the IT Governance repository and manage compliance risks.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in technology governance, project management, and process optimisation.
• Proven ability to implement industry best practices, including Agile methodologies and continuous improvement.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment while driving operational excellence.
