Telecom O&M Manager - Managed Services

About the role

Huawei Pakistan is looking for an experienced Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Manager to lead telecom network operations for a large-scale Managed Services project. The role covers end-to-end preventive and corrective maintenance across a multivendor telecom network, ensuring high network availability, SLA compliance and customer satisfaction. It suits someone who can lead regional teams, manage suppliers and drive operational performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily preventive and corrective maintenance across multiple regions, ensure network availability and timely fault resolution, and monitor performance against SLAs and KPIs.
• Manage regional O&M teams, field engineers and outsourced resources, coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors, and monitor supplier performance.
• Handle customer escalations, run regular performance reviews and keep customers informed.
• Drive cost optimization, risk prevention and process improvement, and ensure HSE compliance.
• Use digital platforms such as MyWFM, Talon View, RMS/IVMS and Power BI for monitoring, reporting and dashboard development.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Telecom or Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• 10-15 years of experience in telecom O&M or managed services, including large-scale multivendor operations.
• Experience with telecom operators or vendors such as Huawei, Nokia and ZTE preferred.
• PMP certification is an added advantage.

• Strong understanding of BTS/RAN, transmission networks and telecom power systems.
• Preventive and corrective maintenance, fault management and fuel management.
