Territory Sales Officer – Rice Seed (Jacobabad)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Territory Sales Officer to drive the sales of certified and hybrid rice seed varieties in Jacobabad. The role focuses on building strong relationships with seed dealers, distributors and progressive rice growers, while delivering on‑field promotional activities to generate demand.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with seed dealers, distributors and growers to expand market share.
• Identify growth opportunities and evaluate the sales potential of the assigned territory.
• Organise and conduct field demonstrations, seed trials, farmer meetings and field days.
• Provide technical guidance on agronomic practices, seed selection and crop management.
• Review sales forecasts with the Regional Manager and adjust plans to meet targets.
• Monitor competitor activity, market trends and pricing to refine sales strategies.
• Ensure product visibility and availability at retail points through merchandising and inventory planning.
• Identify new business opportunities and untapped markets within the territory.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in rice seed marketing and sales.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Practical knowledge of rice production practices and seed varieties.
• Ability to conduct field surveys and gather market intelligence.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel for sales planning, analysis and reporting.
