Ticketing Agent

About the role

AL-Amal Tours and Travels Private Limited, a transportation, trucking and railroad company based in Maharashtra, India, is hiring a full-time, on-site Ticketing Agent in Lahore. The agent handles ticket sales and reservations face-to-face and by phone, entering travel details accurately into booking systems and supporting customers with schedules, fares and travel options.

Key responsibilities

• Sell tickets and make reservations in person and over the phone, entering travel details accurately in the booking systems.
• Explain schedules, fares and travel options clearly to customers.
• Issue and modify tickets and process payments and refunds according to company policy.
• Help customers with queries and complaints and coordinate with colleagues to resolve issues.
• Maintain organized records of daily transactions, follow standard operating procedures and meet sales targets.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in travel or tourism is an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site in Lahore, handle peak customer volumes and stay accurate under pressure.
• Relevant experience in travel, transportation or hospitality ticketing is preferred.

Required skills

• Ticket sales and reservations, including accurate data entry and attention to travel details.
• Customer service and communication skills.
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with ticketing or reservation software.
