Unit Production Manager

About the role

L’Oréal is seeking a Unit Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations in Lahore/Sheikhupura. You will be responsible for driving safety, efficiency and quality across multiple production lines while managing large, multi‑shift teams.

Key responsibilities

• Steer end‑to‑end production to meet targets for service, quality and cost, ensuring schedule attainment and operational stability.
• Oversee equipment maintenance and asset reliability programs, coordinating with OEMs and technical partners to minimise downtime.
• Implement continuous‑improvement methodologies such as Lean, TPM and 5S to boost OEE, reduce waste and optimise capacity.
• Manage CAPEX and OPEX proposals, drive cost‑saving initiatives and maintain strict financial discipline.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with significant production‑operations experience, preferably in FMCG or pharmaceutical sectors.
• Proven track record of leading large, multi‑shift production teams to achieve operational targets.
• Hands‑on experience improving equipment reliability and coordinating maintenance activities.
• Demonstrated ability to apply Lean, TPM or similar methodologies to drive efficiency.
• Strong analytical and financial acumen for performance analysis and budget management.
